Scoliosis refers to a lateral curvature in the spine. All scoliosis patients should be under the care of a doctor, be that your GP or an Orthopedic Specialist. Mild curves <15degrees are typically managed through x-ray monitoring and allied health interventions such as physiotherapy and chiropractic care. Moderate to severe curves often require the use of a scoliosis brace, to support the spine and prevent further curve progression. There are two main types of scoliosis:

  • Juvenile/Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis
  • Neuromuscular/Mesenchymal Scoliosis
