How Orthotic Solutions Can Help
We will work together with your child’s Physiotherapist, Paediatrician and Medical Practitioners with the common goal of enhancing your child’s activity, mobility, posture and play by utilising the latest techniques, orthoses, supports and advice.
When your child presents to our clinic for assessment, our Clinician will evaluate your child’s position, posture and movement.
You will be provided with feedback on our assessment of your child, and advice on our recommended intervention, prescription, and treatment.
New Technology For Cranial Assessment
We now use the very latest digital imaging technology for producing accurate measurements and Cranial Remodelling Helmets for infants with Plagiocephaly / Brachycephaly
What is the Omega Scanner:
The Omega Scanner provides a safe, quick method for capturing the shape of an infant’s head without the need for hand measuring or a plaster cast.
How Does it Work:
The Omega Scanner uses structured light to scan the shape of an infant’s head. This information is sent to the computer where a 3D image is created on the screen.
What it’s used for:
Assessing head shape for the purpose of producing reports and monitoring growth.
Capturing a child’s head shape to use for helmet manufacture.
